Wajih Ul Hassan is a Ph.D. candidate in the CS Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where he is advised by Adam Bates. His research interests are in system and network security, with an emphasis on intrusion detection, forensic analysis, and data provenance. Wajih is a recipient of the 2019 Symantec Research Labs Graduate Fellowship, 2019 Heidelberg Laureate Forum Young Researcher, 2019 RSA Security Scholar, a Mavis Future Faculty Fellowship at Illinois, a Sohaib and Sara Abbasi Fellowship, and an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at ASE 2016.
